This series of eight Monday documentary screenings
will honor the late Rancho Mirage filmmaker Joel “the
Docmeister” Hochberg, who directed and produced over
400 documentaries about the people, charities, and
cultural organizations in and around the Coachella Valley.
In keeping with Hochberg’s contribution to the community and Library of
producing and screening documentary films, the series will present some
of the filmmaker’s favorite festival documentaries with some additional film
selections by Library staff. Subjects include people, places, culture, and
visual art. Please join us for any and all of these stellar documentaries.
