Desert Winds Freedom Band
Saturday, May 31, 4 – 5 p.m.
The
Desert Winds Freedom Band
is
thrilled to return to the Library for their
annual “Pops Concert.” The concert
will feature a diverse selection of Pop,
Jazz, March, Movie, and Traditional
Music.
One of the feature numbers for this
concert will be music from Gershwin’s
famous
PorgyandBess,
including “IGot
Plenty O’ Nuttin,” “It Ain’t Necessarily
So,” “Summertime,” and others. Also
featured will be “Moon River” from the
movie
Breakfast at Tiffany’s,
the jazz
favorite “A Night in Tunisia,” a “Fantasy
for Flutes,” some Sousa Marches, and
more!
The Desert Winds Concert is always
a standing room only performance, so
get there early to get a seat!

Myer, Baritone; and Nathan Van
Arsdale, Bass.
