Book Babies
Meets every Monday at 10 a.m.
Babies
(new born to twelve months
old)
and their caregivers participate in
an informative 20-minute session of
stories, songs, rhymes, stretching, and
discussion of early literacy skills and
practice, followed by ten minutes of free
play. Attendance is limited to fifteen infant-
caregiver pairs; no additional siblings or
youngsters may attend.
Tiny Tot Tales
Meets every Tuesday at 10 a.m. &
every Wednesday at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Tiny Tot Tales
is designed for children
from
one to three years old.
This
is a lively session of song, action
rhymes, fingerplays, stories, and more.
A coloring sheet is provided after each
25-minute session.
Preschool Stories and Me
Meets every Thursday at 10 a.m.
This is an independent storytime for
children from three to five years old
(parents may sit on the bench, while kids
sit on the floor). If your child is not ready
to sit with the other children without their
caregiver, please consider joining Tiny
Tot Tales until your child is ready for this
independent storytime. The emphasis is
on stories with a few songs, and lasts
approximately 30 minutes. Coloring and
a craft follows storytime.
Each storytime session is held in the Storytime Room.

The library presents three age-specific
storytime programs each week:
Monday 10 a.m.
Book Babies – for babies
new born to one year
Tuesday 10 a.m.
Tiny Tot Tales – for children
ages one to three
Wednesday 10 a.m. & 11 a.m.
Tiny Tot Tales – for children
ages one to three
Thursday 10 a.m.
Preschool Stories and Me –
for children ages three to five
Each session begins promptly on designated days.
We suggest that participants
arrive early
so
that all can benefit from the total experience
and minimize disruptions.
